Among the chemical parks in Central Germany, Zeitz Chemical and Industrial Park is something special by its successful architectural landscape design. The Park is characterized by a symbiosis from nature and industrial plants. Meadows in neighbourhood of chemical plants, architecturally interesting formed rain basins and park-similar greens next to classified historical monuments characterize the site and astonish the visitor again and again. And there are many visitors, the Chemical and Industrial Park is well-linked to the Elsterradweg trail, leading from the Elster source up to the mouth at Halle.

Fabulous events occur in the Hyzet arts and leisure center. Highlights of the season 2010 are concerts and performances like "JACKO - a Tribute to Michael Jackson", "Das große Latinerfest 2010", "BLABLÖS GUGGEN-FETE", "Elsterglanz - Die Band", "Konzert der Geschwister Hofmann", "De Randfichten und Band", "Jürgen v.d. Lippe", "Captain Cook und seine singenden Saxophone" and many more. Above all is the annual "Swinging ball" on December 27th with up to 1,000 guests from whole Germany.
